WCIU, The U and ‘You & Me This Morning’ want to give you two passes to the Museum of Science and Industry! Now open, ANIMAL INSIDE OUT, a Body Worlds Production, makes its U.S. premiere at the Museum of Science and Industry. This exhibition, from anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, inventor of Plastination science and creator of the trailblazing Body Worlds exhibitions, showcases amazing animal specimens that have been preserved through the Plastination process. This process replaces fluids in the body with plastics, allowing you to get an up-close and real look at the complexity of animal anatomy. Highlights include the rarely seen giant squid with its huge eyes designed for picking up light in ocean depths, the ostrich with muscular legs and long ligaments for running, the world’s tallest mammal, a giraffe, towering over you, the massive bull with its heart five times the size of a human heart and much more!
