1. SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘Me-TV Network’ whose address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter for the chance to win the ‘Svengoolie Autographed Rubber Chicken Giveaway’ (the “Sweepstakes”). The Sweepstakes begins January 1, 2013 at approximately 4:00 PM CST and ends Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at approximately 4:00 PM. Specifically, visit Svengoolie.com and sign up for the ‘Svengoolie’ newsletter that registers you for the chance to win one (1) previously used rubber chicken from a ‘Svengoolie’ broadcast. Only one entry per person, per email address, per monthly newsletter distribution will be accepted. Each month, one (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible newsletter recipients using a computer software winner selection tool. Entrants do not have to actually reside within a ‘Me-TV Network’ viewing area to be eligible for this Sweepstakes.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is only open to all legal residents of the contiguous 48 states, Hawaii and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of ‘Me-TV Network,’ MGM Television, Weigel Broadcasting Co., and each of their sponsors, advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants are not able to win more than one (1) time during this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes entrants do not have to have registered for the newsletter before the start of the Sweepstakes Period, for the intent to win the Sweepstakes or via the official Sweepstakes page to potentially win.
4. PRIZES. ‘Me-TV Network’ guarantees that twelve (12) used rubber chickens from a past ‘Svengoolie’ television broadcast and autographed by Rich Koz will be awarded, valued at $10 (the “Prize”). There will be twelve (12) Prize winners selected at random from all eligible newsletter recipients during the Sweepstakes period. One (1) winner will be chosen from each monthly newsletter mailing database. Winners will be selected and contacted via the email address provided to receive the newsletter on the Monday following each month’s Svengoolie newsletter release. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible newsletter recipients during each monthly distribution. One (1) newsletter will be sent out on the first Friday of each month during the Sweepstakes period; subject to change without notice. If a winner fails to claim their Prize within three (3) business days, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing will be held from the remaining eligible entries. All winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prizes are non-transferable. Additionally, only one (1) Prize will be issued per person, per household during the Sweepstakes period. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to any of the six (6) Sweepstakes winners. The Prize will be sent to winners through UPS Ground services. By entering, all winners shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Sweepstakes, without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. All winners are responsible for income and other taxes on their Prize. All winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification upon receipt of their Prize. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of Prize.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘Me-TV Network’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, email or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U’ where it becomes impracticable for ‘Me-TV Network’ to award one or more Prizes, ‘Me-TV Network’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize or Prizes. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of the official Sweepstakes rules are available at the ‘Me-TV Network’ offices located at 26 N. If you wish to receive the names of Sweepstakes Prize winners from this sweepstakes period, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘WCIU, The U,’ ‘Svengoolie Autographed Rubber Chicken Giveaway’ 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois, 60661. ‘Me-TV Network’ must receive any request for winners’ names no later than June 5, 2014.
