1. SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U’ whose address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win the Sweepstakes, and purchase does not increase the odds of winning. The Sweepstakes begins Monday, April 8, 2013 12:00 AM and ends Thursday, April 11, 2013 12:00 PM CST unless extended by ‘WCIU, The U.’ Persons wishing to enter the Sweepstakes may do so at WCIU.com and complete an online form to register for a chance to win two (2) tickets to see Rich Little in Jimmy Stewart & Friends at the Arcada Theatre on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 8:00 PM CST and a $100 gift certificate to The Office in St. Charles, IL. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per day (12 AM – 11:59 PM CST) will be accepted. If multiple entries are received from one entrant in any given day during the Sweepstakes period, that day’s entries for that particular entrant will not be accepted. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all online entries using a computer software winner selection tool.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is only open to all legal residents of Illinois and Indiana who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ the Arcada Theatre, The Office and each of their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants are not able to win more than one (1) time during this Sweepstakes. This promotion is void where prohibited by law.
4. PRIZE. ‘WCIU, The U,’ the Arcada Theatre and The Office guarantee that one (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to see Rich Little in Jimmy Stewart & Friends on Saturday, April 13 2013 at 8:00 PM and a $100 gift certificate to The Office, retail value of $260. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of Sweepstakes entries. The winner will be selected and notified on Thursday, April 11, at 12 PM CST. The winner will be selected by random drawings from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period. Any selected winner who cannot be contacted by 4 PM CST to confirm their selection after an initial phone call to the number listed on their entry will be disqualified and an alternate entrant will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries and notified. The Prize winner must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prize is non-transferable and must be picked up by the winner at the Arcada Theatre box office on Saturday, April 13, 2013 beginning at 2 PM. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to the Sweepstakes winner. By entering, the winner shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for on-air announcements, advertising and promotional purposes related to the Sweepstakes, without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. The winner is responsible for income and other taxes on their Prize. The winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification upon receipt of their Prize. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of their Prize. The winner has one (1) business day to return all requested identification and release forms. After this time period, the Prize may be revoked and a new winner may be drawn from all eligible entries.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U’ where it becomes impracticable for ‘WCIU, The U’ to award the Prize, ‘WCIU, The U’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize or any Prizes at all. ‘WCIU, The U’ is not responsible for replacing the Prize as a result of events beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U.’ This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. Any attempt by any participant to bypass these rules by the use of alias email addresses, illegitimate identities, registrations or logins, or any other scheme will void that participant's entry/entries and may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. If you wish to receive the names of the Sweepstakes Prize winner, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘WCIU, The U,’ ‘You & Me & Rich Little giveaway – Sweepstakes Winner,’ 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any such request for the winner’s name no later than July 12, 2013.
