1. SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U’ whose address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes begins Wednesday, April 3, 2013 12:00 AM and ends Thursday, April 4, 2013 12:00 PM unless extended by ‘WCIU, The U.’ Persons wishing to enter the Sweepstakes may do so at WCIU.com and complete an online form to register for a chance to win two (2) tickets to see WVON Presents Impact 50 Featuring Toni Braxton at The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL on April 6, 2013 at 7 PM. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per day will be accepted. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all online entries using a computer software winner selection tool.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is only open to all legal residents of Illinois and Indiana who are 18 years of age or older and live in the Chicagoland television viewing area (as defined by A.C. Nielsen Co.). Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., The Chicago Theatre, WVON, Midway Broadcasting Company, Captivate Marketing and each of their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members are not eligible to enter or win.
4. PRIZE. ‘WCIU, The U’ guarantees that One (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to see WVON Presents Impact 50 Featuring Toni Braxton at The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL on April 6, 2013 at 7 PM, valued at $106.00. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of Sweepstakes entries. Any selected winner who cannot be contacted by 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 to confirm their selection after an initial phone call to the number listed on their entry will be disqualified and an alternate Sweepstakes ant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries and notified. The Prize winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prizes are non-transferable and must be picked up at Will Call box at The Chicago Theatre by 7 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2013; the date of the performance. Winner must present a valid photo ID to claim their tickets. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to the Sweepstakes winner. By entering, the winner shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Sweepstakes, without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. The winners are responsible for income and other taxes on their Prize. The winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification upon receipt of their Prize. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of their Prize. The winners have two (2) business days to return all requested identification and release forms; forms must be submitted to ‘WCIU, The U’ by 4:00PM, Friday, April 5 2013. After this time period, the Prize may be revoked and a new winner may be drawn from all eligible entries.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U’ where it becomes impracticable for ‘WCIU, The U’ to award the Prize, ‘WCIU, The U’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize or any Prize et al. ‘WCIU, The U’ is not responsible for replacing the Prize as a result of events beyond the control of the ‘WCIU, The U.’ This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. If you wish to receive the names of the Sweepstakes Prize winner, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘WCIU, The U,’ ‘You & Me & Toni Braxton 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any such request for the winner’s name no later than June 10, 2013.
