1. SPONSOR: This Contest is sponsored by WCIU, The U whose corporate headquarters address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter to win an Octiv Air wireless iPod Dock, Expressionist Bass Computer Speakers and Orbit M Mobile Speakers (estimated value $570.00). The Contest begins Friday June, 12, 2009, and ends Tuesday, July,7 2009, at 11:59PM. Specifically, Monday through Sunday visit www.wciu.com to fill out an online form that registers you to win Octiv Air wireless iPod Dock, Expressionist Bass Computer Speakers and Orbit M Mobile Speakers. Only one entry per person, per email address, will be accepted. A total of twenty (20) secondary winners and one (1) grand prize winner will be selected at random from all online entries using a computer software winner selection tool.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open to all legal residents of the states of Illinois and Indiana only. Winners must be 18 years of age or older and must live in the Chicagoland television viewing area (as defined by A.C. Nielsen Co.). Employees of WCIU, The U, Weigel Broadcasting, Loyola University, and each of their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members are not eligible to enter or to win.
4. PRIZES. There will be twenty (20) secondary prize winners and one (1) grand prize winner. WCIU will provide twenty (20) Taking Back Sunday’s New Again CD. Odds of winning will be determined by total number of contest entries. Once notified, winners will have 14 business days to claim their prize. If a winner fails to claim the prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries. All prize winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The prizes are non-transferable. Additionally, only one (1) prize will be issued per household. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to any of the twenty one (21) Contest winners. By entering, all winners shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Contest, without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. All winners are responsible for income and other taxes on the prize tickets. All winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification within 14 days of notification of being a winner. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the contest may result in a forfeiture of prize tickets.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by WCIU, The U concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of WCIU, The U where it becomes impracticable for WCIU, The U to award one or more prizes, WCIU, The U, may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such prize. This Contest is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of the official Contest rules are available at the WCIU, The U offices located at, 26 N. If you wish to receive the names of Contest prizewinners, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to WCIU, The U, Taking Back Sunday Online Sweepstakes 26 N Halsted, Chicago, IL, 60661. WCIU, The U must receive any request for winners’ names no later than July 10, 2009.
