1. SPONSOR. This Contest is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U,’ whose corporate address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661 (the "Sponsor").
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter this contest or win a grand prize of two (2) tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on December 15, 2012, one (1) backstage tour with ShowBiz Shelly and one (1) VIP meet and greet experience with a Jingle Bash artist or win a daily prize of (2) tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on December 15, 2012. ‘B96 and The Insider Watch & Win Tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash’ Contest begins Monday, November 5, 2012 at 6:00 PM and ends Thursday, November 22 at 5:59 PM unless extended by ‘WCIU, The U.’ To participate, viewers must watch ‘The Insider’ weeknights at 6:00 PM during the Contest period on ‘WCIU, The U’ for their chance to win. Each day, one (1) Code Word of the Day will be shown during the 6:00 PM broadcast of ‘The Insider.’ To enter the Contest, viewers must submit the correct Code Word by 5:59 PM the following day. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per day will be accepted. A total of 14 winners will be selected using a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible entries.
3. ELIGIBILITY. ‘B96 and The Insider Watch & Win Tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash’ Contest is open to all legal residents of Illinois and Indiana who live in the Chicagoland television viewing area (as defined by A.C. Nielsen) and are 21 years of age or older. Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., CBS Radio, Pepsi Co. and their advertising agencies, promoters, sponsors, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win.
4. PRIZES. ‘WCIU, The U’ and B96 guarantee that one (1) winner will be awarded (2) tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on December 15, 2012, one (1) backstage tour with ShowBiz Shelly and one (1) VIP meet and greet experience with a Jingle Bash artist. The Ulitmate VIP Insider Experience is valued at $79.00. Thirteen (13) winners will win two (2) tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on December 15, 2012 valued at $79.00. The first winner selected from all eligible entries will win the grand prize; the following 13 winners will receive two (2) B96 Jingle Bash tickets. Winners will be selected from each 24 hour period after the broadcast of each day’s code word. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible entries. Once notified, the winners will have three (3) business days to claim their Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries at the discretion of ‘WCIU, The U.’ Prize winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. These Prizes are non-transferable. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any Contest winner. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winners. By entering, the winners are consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. Winners are responsible for income and other taxes on the Prizes. Prize winners must complete a W-9 form. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Contest may result in a forfeiture of Prize.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U,’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U,’ where it becomes impracticable to award one or more prizes, ‘WCIU, The U,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize. This Contest is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of these official Contest rules are available at the ‘WCIU, The U’ offices located at 26 N. If you wish to receive the names of Contest Prize winners, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘B96 and The Insider Watch & Win Tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash’ 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any request for the winners’ names no later than January 20, 2013.
