1. SPONSOR. This Contest is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U,’ whose corporate address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661 ("Sponsor").
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win two (2) tickets to see Bill Bellamy perform on October 20, 2012 at the Arie Crown Theater via the “Watch & Win tickets to see Bill Bellamy” with ‘WCIU, The U’ Contest. The Contest begins Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 7:00 PM and ends Monday, October 15, 2012 at 7:29 PM. To participate, viewers will watch ‘Mr. Box Office’ Sunday night at 7:00 PM or 7:30 on “WCIU, The U” for their chance to win. During both the 7:00 PM and 7:30 episode of ‘Mr. Box Office, one (1) Code Word of the Day will be shown. A total of two (2) different code words will be shown. To enter the Contest, viewers must submit the correct 7:00 PM episode Code Word of the Day at WCIU.com by 6:59 PM the following day or submit the correct 7:30 PM episode Code Word of the Day at WCIU.com by 7:29 PM the following day. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per code word will be accepted. At the end of the Contest period, all eligible entries will be consolidated into one selection pool. One (1) winner will be selected using a computer software winner selection tool.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The “Watch & Win tickets to see Bill Bellamy” with ‘WCIU, The U’ Contest is open to all legal residents of Illinois and Indiana who are 18 years of age or older and who live in the Chicagoland television viewing area as defined by A.C. Nielsen. Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., Entertainment Studios, Arie Crown Theater and their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win.
4. PRIZES. ‘WCIU, The U’ and Entertainment Studios guarantee that one (1) winner will be awarded two (2) tickets, valued at $TBD. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of correct entries. Once notified, the winner will have one (1) business day to claim their Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries. The Prize winner must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prize is non-transferable. Only one (1) Prize will be issued per household. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any contest winner. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winner. By entering, the winner is consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. The winner is responsible for income and other taxes on their Prize. The winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification within one (1) day of notification of being a winner. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Contest may result in a forfeiture of Prize.
7 .MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U,’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U,’ where it becomes impracticable to award one or more prizes, ‘WCIU, The U,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize. This Contest is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of these official Contest rules is available at the ‘WCIU, The U’ offices located at 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL or by writing to ‘WCIU, The U,’ “Watch & Win tickets to see Bill Bellamy,” 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. If you wish to receive the name of Contest Prize winner, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘WCIU, The U,’ “Watch & Win tickets to see Bill Bellamy,” 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any request for the winner’s names no later than December 28, 2012.
