1. SPONSOR: This Contest is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U’ whose corporate headquarters address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY.A purchase is not required to enter to win the Gary Allan ‘Get Off On The Pain’ Giveaway. The Contest begins Monday, March 15, 2010 at 12:00AM, and ends Wednesday, March 31, 2009 at 11:59PM. Specifically, visit wciu.com to fill out an online form that registers you for a chance to win one (1) elliptical/stepper in addition to a CD, or one (1) of 29 runner up prizes of a CD. Only one entry per person, per email address, per day, will be accepted.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open to all legal residents of the states of Illinois and Indiana only. Winners must be 18 years of age or older and must live in the Chicagoland television viewing area (as defined by A.C. Nielsen Co.). Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co. and Grants Appliances and Electronics, each of their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members are not eligible to enter or to win.
4. PRIZES. Weigel Broadcasting Co. and Entertainment Marketing Group guarantee that one (1) Stamina Products Inc. Elite Programmable Elliptical/Stepper in addition to a Gary Allan ‘Get Off On The Pain’ CD will be awarded, valued at $1199.99; 29 runner up winners will be guaranteed a copy of Gary Allan’s ‘Get Off On The Pain’ album, valued at $11.99. One winner will receive an Elliptical/Stepper and CD. A total of 30 winners will be selected at random from all online entries using a computer software winner selection tool. Odds of winning will be determined by total number of Contest entries. If a winner fails to claim the prize within 14 business days, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries. All winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prizes are non-transferable. Additionally, only one (1) Prize will be issued per household. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to any of the 30 Contest winners. By entering, all winners shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Contest, without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. All winners are responsible for income and other taxes on the prize tickets. All winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification upon notification of being a winner. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the contest may result in a forfeiture of Prize.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U’ where it becomes impracticable for ‘WCIU, The U’ to award one or more Prizes, ‘WCIU, The U’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize. Halsted, Chicago, IL, 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any request for winners’ names no later than April 30, 2010.
