NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
1. SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘Me-TV Network’ (“Sponsor”) whose address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY AND SELECTION OF WINNERS. A purchase is not required to enter or win the Sweepstakes, and a purchase does not increase the odds of winning. The Sweepstakes begins Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9:00 PM EST and ends Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 8:59 PM EST unless extended by ‘Me-TV Network.’ Persons wishing to enter the Sweepstakes may do so by watching ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ at 9:00 PM EST and/or ‘Rhoda’ at 9:30 PM EST on Me-TV Network. Each evening, one (1) code word will be shown during ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and one (1) code word will be shown during ‘Rhoda.’ The code word for both shows will be the same each night and shown one (1) time during each show. There will be a total of five (5) different code words shown during this Sweepstakes, one for each weeknight during this promotion. To enter the Sweepstakes, viewers must submit the correct code word shown during either ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ or ‘Rhoda’ by 8:59 PM EST the following day at www.MeTVNetwork.com and complete an online form, which includes your contact information and code word. Viewers are allowed one (1) entry per day (9:00 PM EST – 8:59 PM EST); if multiple entries are received from any entrant during the Sweepstakes period, that particular entrant will be completely disqualified for that day’s round of entries. Five hundred (500) copies of the book ‘Mary & Lou & Rhoda and Ted: And All The Brilliant Minds Who Made The Mary Tyler Moore Show A Classic’ will be awarded in this promotion. Five hundred (500) total winners will be selected at random using a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible online entries that include a correct code word.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries, including due to technical/network failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.
Entrants agree not to upload, post or transmit any materials which contain any computer viruses, Easter eggs, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful component or programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the rights to seek damages from any person who makes such attempt(s).
Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted by an individual or authorized account holder of an e-mail address shall be determined by ‘Me-TV Network’ in its sole discretion, and ‘Me-TV Network’ reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is only open to all legal residents of the contiguous 48 states, Hawaii and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of ‘Me-TV Network,’ MGM Television, Weigel Broadcasting Co., Me-TV National Limited Partnership, Simon & Schuster, Jennifer Armstrong, and each of their sponsors, advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants are not able to win more than one (1) time during this Sweepstakes. Only one (1) winner per household is allowed. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Me-TV Network does not air in all television viewing areas or on all cable and satellite providers, therefore viewers should check their local listings to inquire about their specific ability to view ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and ‘Rhoda’ in their local market during this Sweepstakes.
All entrants will be required to acknowledge this Sweepstake’s Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Indemnification (“release form”) during the Sweepstakes entry process by checking a box that indicates agreement of all the terms and conditions of this Sweepstakes (except where prohibited). If entrants do not check the boxes while entering this Sweepstakes that they agree to the official rules and release form, the submission will not be considered eligible. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of their Prize.
4. PRIZE. Five hundred (500) winners will each receive one (1) ‘Mary & Lou & Rhoda and Ted: And All The Brilliant Minds Who Made The Mary Tyler Moore Show A Classic’ by Jennifer Armstrong, retail value of $26.00. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible Sweepstakes entries containing correct entries. Winners will be selected and notified by Monday, August 26, 2013 to the email addresses listed by entrants in their original Sweepstakes submission.
‘Me-TV Network’ will be the sole judge of eligibility of all entries. Winners will be selected by way of a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible entries that include a correct code word and that are received during the Sweepstakes period.
By entering this Sweepstakes and agreeing to the terms and conditions in these official rules, entrants consent to automatically accept this Prize if they are selected as a winner. All Prizes will be sent to the addresses listed on the winners’ original Sweepstakes submission forms directly from the publisher, Simon & Schuster. ‘Me-TV Network’ and Simon & Schuster are not responsible for the safe and complete delivery of any Prize to any winner and may require a signature for delivery of this Prize. In the event that any Prize is returned to Simon & Schuster as undeliverable, they are under no obligation to make any attempt to contact the winner and/or resend the Prize.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS. The Prizes are non-transferable and will be delivered no later than sixty (60) days from the date that such Prize is awarded at the minimum expense of ‘Me-TV Network’ and Simon & Schuster to all winners via UPS Ground or USPS. Prizes may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash, sold, or traded. No prize transfer, assignment, or substitution by winners is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. By entering, the winners shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for on-air announcements, advertising and promotional purposes related to the Sweepstakes, without additional consideration. The Prize is subject to all terms and conditions set forth by the Prize provider, Simon & Schuster.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant forever discharges, releases, and holds harmless the Sponsor and each of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes, however caused.
Winners will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes. Sponsor will report any individual winnings more than $600 (in cash or fair market value of the goods or services) in a one-year period to the Internal Revenue Service. Winners will receive a Form 1099 from Sponsor if Sponsor reports any winnings to the Internal Revenue Service.
7. SPONSOR’S RESERVATION OF RIGHTS. These official rules are subject to modifications by ‘Me-TV Network.’ The decisions made by ‘Me-TV Network’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘Me-TV Network’ that renders the Sweepstakes not capable of completion as planned, including due to force majeure or non-authorized human intervention that comprises or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of Sweepstakes, ‘Me-TV Network’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine to cancel, terminate, or modify this Sweepstakes, including by determining not to award the planned Prizes or any Prize at all. ‘Me-TV Network’ is not responsible for replacing the Prize as a result of events beyond the control of ‘Me-TV Network.’
This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. Any attempt by any participant to bypass these rules by the use of alias email addresses, illegitimate identities, registrations or logins, or any other scheme will void that participant's entry/entries and may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. 8. WINNER LIST. Winners’ first name, last initial, city and state will be posted to www.MeTVNetwork.com on the bottom of the Sweepstake webpage by Monday, August 26, 2013. The list of winners will be available online until November 15, 2013. If you wish to receive the names of the Sweepstakes Prize winners, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘Me-TV Network,’ ‘Me-TV Mary Tyler Moore Book Giveaway – Sweepstakes Winners,’ 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘Me-TV Network’ must receive any such request for the winners’ names no later than November 15, 2013.
